Sten Sjödin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Bergqvist having to interfere. The supporters of Rävlanda booed when Norrtorn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Fastesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sten Sjödin in the 7th minute. In the 8th match minute, Norrtorn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. Sakarias Boklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Edvard Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrtorn FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Waller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Olof Dahlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Blom hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Axel Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Eriksson in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Edvard Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Dahlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Norrtorn FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ingvar Biörnberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rävlanda's zone, Edvard Waller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Dahlman came out of the goal and Edvard Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rävlanda's Per-Olof Dahlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Thidén in the 50th minute of play.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickard Fastesson during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rickard Fastesson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Edvard Waller reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Per-Olof Dahlman. The goal made the score 0-2. When Henrik Nilsson fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrtorn FC's protests and gave Henrik Nilsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Norrtorn FC's Henrik Nilsson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Axel Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Sjödin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Axel Bergqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Sjödin's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. If Sten Sjödin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Bengt-Åke Bryngelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Thidén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rävlanda's Sten Sjödin in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norrtorn FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Åke Bryngelsson in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norrtorn FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
