In the 5th match minute, Tvärålund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Håning to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Unesson struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. When Johannes Bergvall fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tvärålund's protests and gave Johannes Bergvall a yellow card for diving instead. Lima IF's Tobias Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Törnblom in the 11th minute of play. After 14th play minutes Hugo Unesson shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Allan Forss and just under the crossbar into goal. Tobias Fastesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Allbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Bank charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Bank the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Bank kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Hugo Unesson struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Allan Forss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lima IF. Allan Forss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Billvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Hugo Unesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Bertil Billvall fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 38 minutes into the match, Tvärålund's goalkeeper Allan Forss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Unesson. Conny Håning hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Tvärålund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Hugo Unesson scored to the left of an out of position Allan Forss, making the score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peder Allbom to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Lima IF defense, Peder Allbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Fastesson. The Lima IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Fastesson should have stopped the shot. Bertil Billvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hugo Unesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Börje Törnblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tvärålund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Törnblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Unesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tvärålund's Allan Forss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Billvall in the 85th minute of play. Tobias Fastesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Törnblom in the 87th minute. Tobias Fastesson was a little too slow when Peder Allbom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-2.
