The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Douglas Gummeson charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lima IF's Tobias Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Loyola in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Unesson in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göran Löfdahl saved Slussfors from getting behind. Göran Ekelund hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Slussfors's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Billvall came free, but Göran Löfdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Slussfors booed when Lima IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Löfdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Unesson in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Alexis Peraza notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Lima IF's Tobias Fastesson. Tobias Fastesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Slussfors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertil Billvall to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Peraza in the 58th minute of play forced Lima IF's goalkeeper Tobias Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tobias Fastesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Alexis Peraza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Fastesson was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Alexis Peraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tobias Fastesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Xavi Iniesta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slussfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavi Iniesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Fastesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexis Peraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Fastesson having to interfere. Thomas Siggesson hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Slussfors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
