The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Ström got free with Tobias Fastesson in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Lima IF's Douglas Gummeson got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Börje Törnblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Fastesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Fastesson made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Albert Ström sent off a good shot on target. When Gabriel Apelkvist fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tvärålund's protests and gave Gabriel Apelkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tvärålund's zone, Bertil Billvall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 24th match minute, Lima IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Unesson to maneuver through the defense. Allan Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Billvall in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Börje Törnblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Fastesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Billvall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Forss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Hugo Unesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Börje Törnblom made the kick off in the second half. Tobias Fastesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Törnblom in the 55th minute of the match. Leonard Bäckman charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Bäckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
