But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Mellbad couldn't finish the play. Morgan Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Stensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Michael Hasselqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Hilden Boyz's Ivan Kielstedt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Morgan Sundberg. Morgan Sundberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Morgan Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Stensson in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calle Stensson to make the kick off. Hilden Boyz were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Hallstavik's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andreas Torsberg took the corner. Hilden Boyz's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
