Asbestos's Alvin Häll quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gunnar Kjellberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert Lundhberg in the 13th minute. Asbestos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Kasper Kling scored to the left of an out of position Gunnar Kjellberg, making the score, 1-0. Bror Blomkvist hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Henning Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Kjellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Karlstedt in the 23rd minute of the match. Asbestos's Gunnar Kjellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Asbestos from getting a goal against them. If Boris Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Asbestos defense, Evert Lundhberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Kjellberg. The Asbestos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Kjellberg should have stopped the shot. If Boris Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Mattsson came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Asbestos's Henning Eklund. But to his dismay, Henning Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henning Eklund was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Mattsson came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Asbestos's Boris Bäck. But to his dismay, Boris Bäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Boris Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Asbestos's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Lundhberg came free, but Gunnar Kjellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Asbestos's Alvin Häll got a free kick in the 67th minute. Kristoffer Backman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunnar Kjellberg. Asbestos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 70th match minute, FC Globa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Kling to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Boris Bäck came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Asbestos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Bäck couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Evert Lundhberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Kjellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Henning Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asbestos's supporters rose to their feet, but Henning Eklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Mattsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Asbestos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Globa from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
