Henning Eklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvin Häll hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Leonard Granström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunnar Kjellberg having to make a save. Gunnar Kjellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Grep in the 27th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Here for Beer's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Bäck came free, but Bertil Forssell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Isaac Bengtsson fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Here for Beer's protests and gave Isaac Bengtsson a yellow card for diving instead. Asbestos's Gunnar Kjellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Sävström in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henning Eklund to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Here for Beer got a freekick which was hit by Evert Hamnberg. Fredrik Öberg's late challenge caught a Asbestos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Öberg helped the player get up and apologised. Fredrik Öberg hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Asbestos's Gunnar Kjellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Bengtsson in the 57th minute of play. If Dag Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as John Grep kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunnar Kjellberg. That made the score 0-1 in the 60 minute of play. Bertil Forssell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Eklund in the 64th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Here for Beer got a freekick which was hit by Evert Hamnberg. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Henning Eklund sped through Here for Beer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bertil Forssell. Gunnar Kjellberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Granström in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Henning Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asbestos's supporters rose to their feet, but Henning Eklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Forssell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertil Forssell came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Asbestos's Boris Bäck. But to his dismay, Boris Bäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alvin Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bertil Forssell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asbestos's Boris Bäck got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Henning Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Forssell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. John Grep charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Grep the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. John Grep kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
