Järpen FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Björn Törnqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Christer Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Brodin kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Björn Törnqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. David Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Röda Djävlar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Olsson came free, but Christer Groth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 27 minutes on the clock, Tommy Trillkott commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Röda Djävlar FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tommy Trillkott hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Roy Hasselqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Björn Törnqvist's late challenge caught a Järpen FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Törnqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Röda Djävlar FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Björn Törnqvist hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match, Patrik Falkrantz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Andersson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Röda Djävlar FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Brodin in the 41st minute. Jan Brodin made a great header on Röda Djävlar FC's corner, it was just that Järpen FK's David Andersson managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonny Valström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Patrik Falkrantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Röda Djävlar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Falkrantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Järpen FK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Johnny Henriksson hit a great ball. After the first half Järpen FK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Järpen FK got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Bock. In the 60th minute, Johnny Henriksson made a precise shot to the right of Christer Groth. Röda Djävlar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Kent Widberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Andersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Brodin went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute Patrik Falkrantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Ola Ekegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jan Brodin fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Röda Djävlar FC's protests and gave Jan Brodin a yellow card for diving instead.
