Jonatan Jonasson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Nilsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Åke Bållström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Igelström was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Östra Ryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Lindman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Igelström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pontus Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Igelström having to interfere.
