A collision led to Harvestad IF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Albert Tönnberg hit a great ball. If Ernst Västerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Biörnberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karl-Johan Levander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 13th minute, Ernst Västerstrand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Biörnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Harvestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Levander came free, but Björn Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Levander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Grängesbergs FF's Ernst Västerstrand got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernst Västerstrand got free with Björn Biörnberg in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Linus Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Karl-Johan Levander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Västerstrand was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Grängesbergs FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Ingvall came free, but Albert Ekerot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Ekerot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Johnsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 53 minute of play. Björn Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Levander in the 67th minute of play. Ernst Västerstrand scored 4-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Biörnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harvestad IF's Björn Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Levander in the 76th minute of play. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Karl-Johan Levander sped through Harvestad IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Björn Biörnberg. Björn Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Västerstrand in the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Grängesbergs FF's Karl-Johan Levander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Björn Biörnberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grängesbergs FF fully deserved thier win.
