Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Knapparnas IF's Henry Kruuse started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Allan Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Kruuse in the 3rd minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Knapparnas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th match minute, Knapparnas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Karlberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Byström got free with Hubert Nyström in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Knapparnas IF's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Biörling came free, but Hubert Nyström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Arne Biörling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hans Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Kennet Apelqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knapparnas IF and the Dalby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Knapparnas IF got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Apelqvist. Hans Byström in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hubert Nyström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 37 minutes into the match, Dalby's Bengt-Arne Biörling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Nyström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hubert Nyström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Biörling in the 38th minute of the match. Hans Byström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Arne Biörling struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Hubert Nyström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalby.

Hubert Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Pålsson in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Knapparnas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Vennerkvist to maneuver through the defense. Leif Forsberg, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hans Byström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Arne Biörling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hubert Nyström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Bengt-Arne Biörling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hans Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Byström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Knapparnas IF's Hubert Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Biörling in the 88th minute of play. When Bengt-Arne Biörling came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Dalby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Biörling couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Bengt-Arne Biörling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Nyström. Knapparnas IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Arne Biörling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. There was no doubt that Dalby were the better team. Dalby's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
