In the 4th match minute, Dalby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Byström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Byström in the 9th minute of play forced AFC Vallentuna's goalkeeper Michael Rathmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Vallentuna's goalkeeper Michael Rathmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Arne Biörling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Rathmann was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 40th minute of the match Oscar Nordgren shot from a long distance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrice Mothobi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrice Mothobi in the 55th minute of play forced Dalby's goalkeeper Allan Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Rathmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hans Byström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. The supporters of AFC Vallentuna booed when Dalby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Nordgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dalby eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
