Vetlanda RK's Rune Hellkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Vetlanda RK from getting a goal against them. Lars Svartengren hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Johannes Bodin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Alejo Bonadona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vetlanda RK. Lars Svartengren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 17th playminute. The supporters of Pigga Pågar BK booed when Vetlanda RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Bodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Lars Svartengren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pigga Pågar BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Svartengren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Hellkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonard Bergqvist scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rune Hellkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Lars Svartengren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Hellkvist was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vetlanda RK's goalkeeper Rune Hellkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vetlanda RK's zone, Mats Lövkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Hellkvist came out of the goal and Mats Lövkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pigga Pågar BK's Lars Svartengren in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vetlanda RK's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Leonard Bergqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rune Hellkvist. Leonard Bergqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Pigga Pågar BK's Lars Svartengren got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Pigga Pågar BK's Leonard Bergqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rune Hellkvist. That made the score 5-0 after 46 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Rune Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Lövkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Lars Svartengren sped through Vetlanda RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Hellkvist. If Lars Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Peter Bergren made a precise shot to the right of Rune Hellkvist. Vetlanda RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Pigga Pågar BK's Dag Nilsson was substituted for Gilbert Sandwall. If Lars Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Lars Svartengren sped through Vetlanda RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Hellkvist. In the 84th minute, Lars Svartengren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Hellkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. In the 89th minute, Johannes Bodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vetlanda RK's Rune Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Svartengren in the 91st minute of play. Rune Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Svartengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pigga Pågar BK's Lars Svartengren got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Pigga Pågar BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
