Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michael Thorsberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute Tim Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Falk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 3 played minutes Mellbystrand FF got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Lundin. Lars Alefors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Peter Hellsing made a huge save. Ivar Falk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Thorsberg in the 9th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Michel Pil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Falk was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Jan-Erik Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute of the match, Michael Thorsberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peter Hellsing saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 15 minutes into the match, Olof Thorsberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mellbystrand FF's Ivar Falk. Ivar Falk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joacim Smed hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Michael Thorsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Hellsing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olof Thorsberg in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Falk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivar Falk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Thorsberg in the 27th minute of the match. Jan-Erik Nordin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Michel Pil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Hellsing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Thorsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Garphyttan getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Börge Wallin hit a great ball. Ivar Falk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Thorsberg in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Michel Pil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ivar Falk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 43 played minutes Mellbystrand FF got a freekick which was hit by Michael Thorsberg. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Olof Thorsberg sped through Mellbystrand FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivar Falk.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olof Thorsberg to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Olof Thorsberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mellbystrand FF's Ivar Falk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olof Thorsberg in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Falk saved Mellbystrand FF from getting behind. Michel Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Garphyttan's Olof Thorsberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Garphyttan's Peter Hellsing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Thorsberg in the 62nd minute of play. Dan Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Garphyttan! With a little luck, Mellbystrand FF's Ivar Falk got control of the ball when Tim Lindberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Michael Thorsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Hellsing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Erik Nordin couldn't finish the play. Michel Pil kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Åke Klint's late challenge caught a Mellbystrand FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Klint helped the player get up and apologised. Åke Klint hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Garphyttan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
