Morgan Fredriksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Helgum IF booed when Vissefjärda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Albäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Ahlroht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Morgan Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sune Sander didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 15th minute. Helgum IF's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Karl-Magnus Stabbe struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Osvald Wahlnäs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helgum IF. Sune Sander came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osvald Wahlnäs could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Stabbe in the 24th minute of play forced Vissefjärda's goalkeeper Osvald Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Helgum IF's zone, Fredrik Löfskog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Fredriksson came out of the goal and Fredrik Löfskog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sune Sander got free with Osvald Wahlnäs in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 played minutes Vissefjärda got a freekick which was hit by Arne Albäck. Vissefjärda's Osvald Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Stabbe in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Magnus Stabbe in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvald Wahlnäs saved Vissefjärda from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Arvid Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Vissefjärda's Vidar Klintæus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morgan Fredriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Karl-Magnus Stabbe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Magnus Stabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Sune Sander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvald Wahlnäs having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Sune Sander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Vissefjärda defense, Sune Sander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvald Wahlnäs. The Vissefjärda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvald Wahlnäs should have stopped the shot. Morgan Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Ahlroht in the 91st minute of play. Morgan Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Löfskog in the 93rd minute. If Emanuel Ahlroht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helgum IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vissefjärda for a fine match.
