A collision led to Gimo IK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jonathan Lundqvist hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the game, Nils Lindqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gimo IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mölnbo BK the free kick. Leonardo Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Svensson in the 10th minute of play forced Gimo IK's goalkeeper Leonardo Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nils Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Gimo IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Casper Lägdin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonardo Carlsson. Casper Lägdin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Casper Lägdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Carlsson having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Gimo IK's Joakim Sellberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vidar Bergkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vidar Bergkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Sellberg in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gimo IK's zone, Jerry Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Carlsson came out of the goal and Jerry Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gustav Harman fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mölnbo BK's protests and gave Gustav Harman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Mölnbo BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Harman to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes, Gimo IK's Nils-Erik Kaxe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vidar Bergkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gimo IK reached it. Jerry Svensson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Leonardo Carlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mölnbo BK. Nils Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vidar Bergkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casper Lägdin got free with Leonardo Carlsson in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
After a rather tough play, Gimo IK's Filiph Ahlquist got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes, Mölnbo BK's Holger Lindqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonardo Carlsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mölnbo BK reached it. With a little luck, Mölnbo BK's Vidar Bergkvist got control of the ball when Nils Lindqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes Gimo IK got a freekick which was hit by Aron Helander. When Casper Lägdin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mölnbo BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casper Lägdin couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes of play, Mölnbo BK's Jerry Svensson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Carlsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Mölnbo BK's goalkeeper Vidar Bergkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Lindqvist. Gimo IK's Leonardo Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Lägdin in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gimo IK's zone, Jerry Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Carlsson came out of the goal and Jerry Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Casper Lägdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Filiph Ahlquist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vidar Bergkvist, 3-2. When Jonathan Lundqvist fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gimo IK's protests and gave Jonathan Lundqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Jonathan Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
