The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Järpås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Björkkvist to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Gummeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Boris Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Gummeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Järpås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Asserlind came free, but Boris Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Asserlind in the 16th minute of the match. Dennis Gummeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Boris Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Gummeson struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Boris Westerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junosuando. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Håkan Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Allan Nordkvist made a huge save. Karl Asserlind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Boris Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Järpås IF got a freekick which was hit by Conny Sandström. Jesper Nyström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Järpås IF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pontus Löfdahl hit a great ball. Boris Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Gummeson in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Junosuando's goalkeeper Allan Nordkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Jansson. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arvid Gråberg was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Junosuando's Karl Asserlind sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boris Westerstrand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Thomas Busk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Junosuando and the Järpås IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thomas Busk kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dennis Gummeson in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boris Westerstrand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karl Asserlind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Junosuando's Dennis Gummeson suffered a sore thigh after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 63 minutes into the game, Daniel Björkkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Järpås IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junosuando the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Järpås IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Järpås IF:s Boris Westerstrand showed great skill when he stopped Jesper Nyström:s penalty. Karl Asserlind could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Boris Westerstrand made a huge save. Jarl Åström charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarl Åström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Junosuando's Karl Asserlind dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Inge Åkesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boris Westerstrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inge Åkesson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Håkan Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Karl Asserlind fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Karl Asserlind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Westerstrand having to interfere. Boris Westerstrand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Busk in the 87th minute. Järpås IF's Arvid Gråberg got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Karl Asserlind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Karl Asserlind got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boris Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Asserlind in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over Junosuando could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Järpås IF throughout the match.
