After 8 played minutes Hällestad got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Sjöberg. 10 minutes into the match, Klas Johansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Hellström. Hällestad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klas Johansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With his leg Lars Tolsson managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Hällestad's Pontus Bergsten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pontus Bergsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Lars Tolsson made a huge save. A hard shot 31 in the game by Pontus Bergsten from a close distance when the talented Lars Tolsson managed to make a qualified save. Lycksele's players were relieved. Pontus Bergsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Joakim Lägdin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lars Tolsson. Joakim Lägdin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 37th minute Rolf Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontus Bergsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Lars Tolsson made a huge save. Pontus Bergsten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Lars Tolsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

55 minutes into the match, Lycksele's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Bergsten came free, but Lars Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Max Lindmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joakim Lägdin took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Tolsson. Lars Tolsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Hällestad's Karl-Magnus Sjöberg got a free kick in the 65th minute. Max Lindmark took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven Hellström. Hällestad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Sjöberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Lars Tolsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the game, Richard Hedlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lycksele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hällestad the free kick. Richard Hedlund hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Pontus Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Tolsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Lindmark during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Max Lindmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pontus Bergsten in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Tolsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 played minutes Hällestad got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Zander. Thanks to some nice moves Rolf Öberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Sven Hellström however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pontus Bergsten in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Tolsson saved Lycksele from getting behind. Stig-Arne Zander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Rolf Öberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hällestad's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
