Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pontus Bergsten made the kick off which started today's match. Jan-Olof Gustafsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Sven Hellström made a huge save. Jan-Olof Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Hellström having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Stig-Arne Zander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivar Asserlindh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pontus Bergsten went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Joakim Lägdin might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Asserlindh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Lägdin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Stig-Arne Zander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Pontus Bergsten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Asserlindh was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Sven Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Vedholm in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Hällestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. Sven Hellström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tony Mårtensson. In the 28thth minute of the game Pontus Bergsten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tingstäde's Ivar Asserlindh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, Tingstäde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Larsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tingstäde booed when Hällestad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Bergsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Asserlindh having to interfere. Ivar Asserlindh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Bergsten in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
In a very dangerous position, a player in Hällestad fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Sven Hellström came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Tingstäde's Tony Mårtensson. But to his dismay, Tony Mårtensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sven Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Kilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hällestad's zone, Fabian Kilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Hellström came out of the goal and Fabian Kilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pontus Bergsten in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Asserlindh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joakim Lägdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Asserlindh having to interfere. Sven Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Kilberg in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Pontus Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällestad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Bergsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pontus Bergsten came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Hällestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Bergsten couldn't finish the play. Sven Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Joakim Lägdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Asserlindh having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pontus Bergsten during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sven Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattias Vedholm kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ivar Asserlindh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pontus Bergsten in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Hällestad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tingstäde throughout the match.
