Ivar Melander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Grönlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Adam Lindström lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Zebastian Fernström. Albert Grönlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ivar Melander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoffer Blomquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zebastian Fernström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Christoffer Blomquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Zebastian Fernström made a huge save. Ivar Melander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Grönlund in the 44th minute of the match. When Vilhelm Sigfridsson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zeta's protests and gave Vilhelm Sigfridsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Zeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Sigfridsson to maneuver through the defense. Gustafs were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Zeta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Knut Abrahamsson took the corner. Knut Abrahamsson made a great header on Gustafs's corner, it was just that Zeta's Ivar Melander managed to reach the ball for a save.

The supporters of Gustafs booed when Zeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Sigfridsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when August Smefeldt got free with Ivar Melander in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes, Gustafs's George Jönsätt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivar Melander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gustafs reached it. If Albert Grönlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Melander made an important save on a dangerous shot by August Smefeldt in the 79th minute. Henrik Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Zebastian Fernström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zebastian Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Blomquist in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Henry Lööf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gustafs and the Zeta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
