Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anton Fransson kicked off to start the match. Gilbert Blomquist scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Forssberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Anton Fransson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hofors's Björn Forssberg. Björn Forssberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kjell Uggstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Gummeson having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Bengt-Arne Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hofors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Pkaelito FC's Gilbert Blomquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Forssberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Håkan Gummeson was a little too slow when Bengt-Arne Åström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-2. Håkan Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes, Pkaelito FC's Arne Simonsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Björn Forssberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pkaelito FC reached it. Björn Forssberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hofors's zone, Gilbert Blomquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Forssberg came out of the goal and Gilbert Blomquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Pkaelito FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bengt-Arne Åström made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pkaelito FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Hans Boberg walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Håkan Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åström in the 58th minute of play. Kjell Uggstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Erik Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Gummeson having to interfere. Hans Boberg's late challenge caught a Pkaelito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Boberg helped the player get up and apologised. Hans Boberg hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Egil Wiklund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Björn Forssberg. Hofors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Håkan Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Uggstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konrad Gustavsson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Håkan Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Uggstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Kjell Uggstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Håkan Gummeson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bengt-Arne Åström came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Hofors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Åström couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Uggstedt in the 94th minute of play forced Pkaelito FC's goalkeeper Håkan Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pkaelito FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pkaelito FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
