Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emil Engström took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Venes's Sonny Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Carlsson in the 6th minute of play. Sebastian Kjellman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Häger having to interfere. With an all-out effort, FC Venes's Emil Häger threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emil Engström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Håkan Andersson struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sonny Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gustavsberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Andersson in the 16th minute of play forced FC Venes's goalkeeper Sonny Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Häger having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Gustavsberg got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Larsson. Sebastian Kjellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Engström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Häger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavsberg's zone, Emil Engström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Häger came out of the goal and Emil Engström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Gustavsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Blomqvist came free, but Emil Häger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 50th minute of the match Gustavsberg got a corner. FC Venes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt Östensson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bengt Östensson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sonny Karlsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Håkan Andersson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sonny Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Kilman in the 56th minute of the match. Sebastian Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Emil Häger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Häger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Engström in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Gustavsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Engström came free, but Emil Häger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Venes's Sebastian Kjellman got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Venes getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ludvig Lidström hit a great ball. Sonny Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 80 minutes, Stefan Blomqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Venes and the Gustavsberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, FC Venes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when August Carlsson got free with Sonny Karlsson in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Håkan Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, FC Venes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Karlsson made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when August Carlsson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gustavsberg booed when FC Venes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Andersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Karlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, FC Venes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Lidström to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Andersson spun around in front of the goal 95 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Venes's goal. Ludvig Lidström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Emil Häger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
