Algot Smefeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for f.c. cannone. When Mattias Hellsing fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored f.c. cannone's protests and gave Mattias Hellsing a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in f.c. cannone fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Axel Skröder might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Algot Smefeldt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Skröder ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in f.c. cannone's zone, Göran Ekelund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Backman came out of the goal and Göran Ekelund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liverpool FC's Göran Ekelund got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
