Marc Ahlroht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rödeby's Edvard Brolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Ahlroht in the 4th minute of play. Edvard Brolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Ahlroht in the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rödeby's Mikael Strömbom got a free kick in the 9th minute. Jarl Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Johannes Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Tinglöv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Tinglöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Lange in the 25th minute of play forced Kvidinge's goalkeeper Fred Tinglöv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Ahlroht struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Edvard Brolin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvidinge. When Åke Drake fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvidinge's protests and gave Åke Drake a yellow card for diving instead. When Jan Håning came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Rödeby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Håning couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Rödeby's zone, Jarl Axelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Brolin came out of the goal and Jarl Axelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Håning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fred Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kvidinge's Åke Drake got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Åke Drake off the ground. Åke Drake hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarl Axelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leif Hedin's late challenge caught a Rödeby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Hedin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kvidinge's Leif Hedin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Fred Tinglöv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Lange in the 57th minute of the match. Kvidinge's Fred Tinglöv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Kvidinge from getting a goal against them. After 58 played minutes Kvidinge got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Olenberg. Johannes Lange was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Rödeby's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rödeby's Mårten Sjöberg got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Håning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Tinglöv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Marc Ahlroht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kvidinge's Bernt Björnsson got a free kick in the 86th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Jan Håning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rödeby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Håning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Kvidinge's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan Håning fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan Håning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fred Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
