Kvidinge's Fred Tinglöv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Kvidinge from getting a goal against them. SSC Bari's Sverker Lange was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Åke Drake's late challenge caught a SSC Bari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Drake helped the player get up and apologised. Sverker Lange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Tinglöv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Vincent Blakeley made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Jarl Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. Esbjörn Ekman charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fred Tinglöv made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. SSC Bari's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
