He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malmö Mastas reached it. Rudolf Barck struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Marc Runberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö Mastas. A collision led to Gefle Hotspur FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Torsten Fribäck hit a great ball. After 23 minutes of play, Malmö Mastas's Rudolf Barck made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Runberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 32 minutes, Eddie Flink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gefle Hotspur FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Flink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Freddie Vacker in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gefle Hotspur FC's Torsten Fribäck. If Marcus Alebeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Gefle Hotspur FC's Torsten Fribäck got a free kick in the 39th minute. Robert Fanström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marc Runberg. Gefle Hotspur FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44th minute, Gefle Hotspur FC's Samuel Vennerkvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Samuel Vennerkvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gefle Hotspur FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Samuel Vennerkvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gefle Hotspur FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 47th match minute, Gefle Hotspur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Lundin to maneuver through the defense.

Gefle Hotspur FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Dalberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikard Sjöberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Chants of Malmö Mastas echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Gefle Hotspur FC had held the ball for most of the match.
