Lerums IS's Egil Bark got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikael Dahlqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Dahlqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lerums IS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Charles Tidén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Billing having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Göran Vase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lerums IS's Viktor Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Nordström in the 18th minute of play. Egil Bark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Frufällan IK's goalkeeper Isak Karlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Bark. Isak Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lerums IS. Viktor Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Nordström in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Frufällan IK's goalkeeper Isak Karlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Frufällan IK's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Vase came free, but Isak Karlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olov Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Charles Tidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Viktor Billing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Tidén who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Viktor Billing when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Isak Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Egil Bark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Kennet Kiempe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frufällan IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lerums IS the free kick. Kennet Kiempe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Egil Bark scored 1-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isak Karlsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frufällan IK's Isak Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Jakobsson in the 76th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Gustav Nordström in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Frufällan IK's Gustav Nordström got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malcolm Kielberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viktor Billing. Lerums IS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isak Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Jakobsson in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Egil Bark notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Frufällan IK's Isak Karlsson. Isak Karlsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 92 minutes, Olov Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lerums IS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Jakobsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Frufällan IK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lerums IS.
