Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Olof Strömberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcus Nordin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Emil Berggren came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Kalmar FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Berggren couldn't finish the play. Alf Lidström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stefan Siggesson came out and tried to block the shot, but Alf Lidström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Stefan Siggesson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freddie Håkansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Stefan Siggesson was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Emil Berggren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emil Berggren really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Stefan Siggesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Lidström in the 22nd minute of the match. Slite's Marcus Nordin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kurt Johansson, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Marcus Nordin's late challenge caught a Kalmar FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Nordin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Marcus Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddie Håkansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Stefan Siggesson made a huge save. A collision led to Slite getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lennart Håning hit a great ball. Marcus Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Freddie Håkansson could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Stefan Siggesson however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stefan Siggesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Slite's Stefan Siggesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Lidström in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Lidström in the 55th minute of play forced Slite's goalkeeper Stefan Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olof Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Hans Majman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slite. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Håkansson in the 66th minute of play forced Slite's goalkeeper Stefan Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Per-Åke Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Olof Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Strömberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Olof Strömberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hans Majman, passed just outside the right post. Olof Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Hans Majman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slite. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Per-Åke Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slite's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Åke Arvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Majman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alf Lidström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the game, Freddie Håkansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Stefan Siggesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olof Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olof Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olof Strömberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Hans Majman made a huge save. When Olof Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Slite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Strömberg couldn't finish the play. Hans Majman made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Per-Åke Arvidsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Olof Strömberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
