Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jim Andreasson got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Marsfjäll IK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Boström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Vacker. Jan-Åke Boström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olov Martinsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marsfjäll IK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Boström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15thth minute of the game Bo Wennerquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hoting's Michael Ekström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Åke Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Andreasson in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Wennerquist in the 22nd minute of play forced Hoting's goalkeeper Michael Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Martinsson took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Åke Boström. Jan-Åke Boström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Matthias Överman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Boström made a huge save. Jan-Åke Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Andreasson in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Freddie Vacker took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jan-Åke Boström to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Hoting's Freddie Vacker got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Marsfjäll IK's Kåre Frisk got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Marsfjäll IK's Jan-Åke Boström got control of the ball when Olov Martinsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marsfjäll IK's Jan-Åke Boström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Vacker in the 47th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Bo Wennerquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marsfjäll IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Wennerquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Ekström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Wennerquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Hoting got a freekick which was hit by Carl Ödmann. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Andreasson in the 56th minute of play forced Marsfjäll IK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Boström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Olov Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Boström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Jim Andreasson in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jan-Åke Boström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Andreasson in the 65th minute of the match. Bo Wennerquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Michael Ekström made a huge save. Michael Ekström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bo Wennerquist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 69 minute of play. Marcus Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Michael Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carl Ödmann's late challenge caught a Marsfjäll IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carl Ödmann helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hoting's Carl Ödmann got a free kick in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Olof Hult recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Michael Ekström. Olof Hult showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Jim Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Olof Hult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Åke Boström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Martinsson went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Hoting were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marsfjäll IK for a fine match.
