Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Alf Lidström made the kick off and thus started the match. Freddie Håkansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Michael Ekström made a huge save. Hans Majman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Martinsson in the 6th minute of the match. Olov Martinsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Majman having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Andreasson in the 11th minute of play forced Kalmar FF's goalkeeper Hans Majman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Hoting's Olov Martinsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Majman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Hoting's Jim Andreasson in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kalmar FF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute, Hoting's Olov Martinsson fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Hans Majman was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. In the 25th match minute, Hoting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Myhr to maneuver through the defense. Jim Andreasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Hoting booed when Kalmar FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Martinsson in the 32nd minute of play forced Kalmar FF's goalkeeper Hans Majman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hans Majman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Matthias Överman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kalmar FF's Hans Majman. Hans Majman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Freddie Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoting's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddie Vacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Majman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 53 minutes, André Kihlman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalmar FF and the Hoting players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kalmar FF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. André Kihlman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Håkansson in the 56th minute of play forced Hoting's goalkeeper Michael Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Matthias Överman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Olov Martinsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Majman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 71st minute Alf Lidström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Olov Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Kalmar FF's Hans Majman got control of the ball when Freddie Vacker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olov Martinsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Hans Majman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Freddie Vacker fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoting's protests and gave Freddie Vacker a yellow card for diving instead. Freddie Vacker hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Kalmar FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hoting were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
