When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Hubert Karlberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Allan Skark. If Jack Browall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Lindsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Esbjörnsson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torsten Lidman in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Skark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hubert Karlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Skark stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hubert Karlberg's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Jik 95's Hubert Karlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Johanneshov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Wållander to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Browall was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Rune Lindsten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Esbjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Browall in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jik 95 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
