Mullsjö IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Jens-Ola Apelqvist scored to the left of an out of position Kristian Unesson, making the score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Stenstorp RK's Algot Mager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Unesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 10 minutes into the match, Mullsjö IF's Emil Kaxe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Rune Unesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimmie Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Tony Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Stenstorp RK's zone, Tony Jonasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Rune Unesson came out of the goal and Tony Jonasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Algot Mager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kristian Unesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Algot Mager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stenstorp RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Algot Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Unesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Stenstorp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Kaxe came free, but Bengt-Rune Unesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stenstorp RK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jerry Åkerberg hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Tony Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt-Rune Unesson was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When Mullsjö IF's Emil Kaxe in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kristian Unesson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ola Apelqvist's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 75 minutes, Jerry Åkerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stenstorp RK and the Mullsjö IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Jerry Åkerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Mullsjö IF's Karl-Erik Jespersson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Jens-Ola Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Apelqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kristian Unesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claes Svensson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Stenstorp RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
