In the 6th play minute Ted Hybbert came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vilhelm Fransson. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Malcolm Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anfield Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilhelm Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Sillén struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Vilhelm Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anfield Reds. If Anton Sillén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Hybbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilhelm Fransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Tobias Rosendal's late challenge caught a Anfield Reds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Rosendal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Anfield Reds booed when Bara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Rosendal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bara's Bror Isaksson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Anton Sillén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vilhelm Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ted Hybberts short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Vilhelm Fransson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Bara's zone, Anton Sillén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Fransson came out of the goal and Anton Sillén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anfield Reds's Ted Hybbert got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45th play minutes Ted Hybbert shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Vilhelm Fransson and just under the crossbar into goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ted Hybbert was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ted Hybbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anton Sillén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Ted Hybbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anfield Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Hybbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Sillén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vilhelm Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Hybbert in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilhelm Fransson saved Bara from getting behind. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ted Hybbert sped through Bara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vilhelm Fransson. In the 92nd minute, Ted Hybbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anfield Reds's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
