Artemio Mateo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Broberg in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Porjus booed when Anfield Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yngve Siggman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Artemio Mateo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthon Söderquist in the 12th minute. When Anfield Reds's Ted Hybbert in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Porjus's goalie prevented a goal. Yngve Siggman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anfield Reds's Ted Hybbert in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Porjus's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Hammarberg got free with Artemio Mateo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artemio Mateo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Anthon Söderquist sent off a good shot on target. Anfield Reds's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Jonas Hammarberg scored to the left of an out of position Artemio Mateo, making the score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Osvald Broberg made the kick off in the second half. Robert Nyqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Osvald Broberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Mateo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jim Ryberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yngve Siggman having to make a save. Ted Hybbert scored 2-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yngve Siggman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artemio Mateo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Karlsson in the 79th minute of play. Felix Heggert kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Edwin Cane shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Mateo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Broberg in the 84th minute of play forced Anfield Reds's goalkeeper Artemio Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin Cane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artemio Mateo. Anfield Reds's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute, Felix Heggert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Olof Åkerberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artemio Mateo. Anfield Reds's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Artemio Mateo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvald Broberg went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Anfield Reds's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Porjus had won, even though Anfield Reds had held more of the ball.
