Elof Lindqvist hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Stikta Mot Stjärnorna's goalkeeper Stefan Johnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvin Wallmark. The supporters of Stikta Mot Stjärnorna booed when Tåget BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Fristedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Pelle Kellman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Löfkvist skillfully saved the ball. If Gösta Fanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes, Elof Lindqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tåget BK and the Stikta Mot Stjärnorna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Tåget BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leif Pedersson to strike the kick off in the second half. When Pelle Kellman came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Stikta Mot Stjärnorna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Kellman couldn't finish the play. Tåget BK's Robert Löfkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Kellman in the 58th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Gösta Fanström in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Pelle Kellman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Robert Löfkvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Stikta Mot Stjärnorna's Pelle Kellman in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stikta Mot Stjärnorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelle Kellman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Tåget BK's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Kellman came free, but Robert Löfkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stikta Mot Stjärnorna's Stefan Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Hansson in the 77th minute of play. Stefan Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Lindqvist in the 78th minute of play. Pelle Kellman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 90th minute, Elof Lindqvist made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Johnsson. Stikta Mot Stjärnorna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Stefan Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Robert Löfkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Fanström in the 96th minute of the match.
