In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bohult BK's goalkeeper Bror Vestlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sixten Axelssons short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Åke Ström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sigvard Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Åke Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sigvard Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Sävedalen IF defense, Sigvard Ekblom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Åke Ström. The Sävedalen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Åke Ström should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Sävedalen IF's Åke Ström got control of the ball when Sixten Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Sigvard Ekblom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sävedalen IF's Åke Ström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 minutes Sävedalen IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernst Bas who took care of the corner kick. Bohult BK's Ernst Bas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Åke Ström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malte Klintæus in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bror Vestlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Sävedalen IF's Åke Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Axelsson in the 51st minute of play. Malte Klintæus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Bror Vestlund managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Sävedalen IF's Malte Klintæus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 61 minutes, Karl-Magnus Pedersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sävedalen IF and the Bohult BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Bohult BK a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ernst Bas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sävedalen IF's Åke Ström. 3-0. When Torbjörn Örtlund fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sävedalen IF's protests and gave Torbjörn Örtlund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Torbjörn Örtlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bror Vestlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sävedalen IF. A collision led to Bohult BK getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Sixten Axelsson hit a great ball. Bohult BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
