Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan Ryberg made the kick off which started today's match. Lars Blanck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Arvidsson having to interfere. Malte Klintæus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert Arvidsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Evert Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Blanck in the 8th minute. Torbjörn Örtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Evert Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Sävedalen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Öman to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Laban FC's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Klintæus came free, but Evert Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Malte Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 32 in the game by Lars Blanck from a close distance when the talented Evert Arvidsson managed to make a qualified save. Laban FC's players were relieved. In the 41st minute Olle Bergfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Klintæus in the 42nd minute of play. Jan Ryberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Ström having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Malte Klintæus to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Laban FC's zone, Malte Klintæus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Arvidsson came out of the goal and Malte Klintæus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malte Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Arvidsson having to interfere. When Sävedalen IF's Lars Blanck in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laban FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Malte Klintæus came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Sävedalen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malte Klintæus couldn't finish the play. Laban FC's Evert Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Klintæus in the 64th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Malte Klintæus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laban FC's Evert Arvidsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Ryberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sävedalen IF's Torbjörn Örtlund pulled a muscle in his leg after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 69 minutes, Olle Bergfelt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laban FC and the Sävedalen IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sävedalen IF booed when Laban FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Bergfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Ryberg in the 73rd minute of play forced Sävedalen IF's goalkeeper Åke Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lars Blanck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evert Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Blanck, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With an all-out effort, Laban FC's Åke Ström threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan Ryberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 85 minutes into the match, Sävedalen IF's Lars Blanck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evert Arvidsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Lars Blanck made a precise shot to the right of Evert Arvidsson. Laban FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Lars Blanck fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sävedalen IF's protests and gave Lars Blanck a yellow card for diving instead. Jan Ryberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sävedalen IF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Oliver Lindqvist hit a great ball. Laban FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
