Elliot Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Victor Mickelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Stig Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Värmdö's goalkeeper Stig Hurtig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kent Bratt hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Stig Hurtig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Stig Hurtig was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stig-Ove Petersson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. The supporters of Hova booed when Värmdö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viggo Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ernst Alebeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Ove Petersson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Värmdö booed when Hova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Mickelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Hurtig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Mickelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulf Göransson in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliot Sandberg saved Hova from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Viggo Rosen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elliot Sandberg. The goal made the score 1-1.
