In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fäboden Haga i Norrköping's goalkeeper Torbjörn Igelström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Ronny Fridlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Sundberg in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torbjörn Igelström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Harry Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mjällby AIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Igelström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, Fäboden Haga i Norrköping's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Ek came free, but Torbjörn Igelström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Igelström having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harry Sundberg got free with Torbjörn Igelström in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harry Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Torbjörn Igelström made a huge save. Torbjörn Igelström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Ek in the 28th minute of the match. Torbjörn Igelström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 40 minutes, Tobias Tinglöv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fäboden Haga i Norrköping and the Mjällby AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mjällby AIF booed when Fäboden Haga i Norrköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Tinglöv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Ek might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torbjörn Igelström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Ek ran back to his position shaking his head. Harry Sundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Ek in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torbjörn Igelström saved Fäboden Haga i Norrköping from getting behind. Ingvar Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Harry Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Ek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torbjörn Igelström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Ingvar Ek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mjällby AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 74 played minutes Mjällby AIF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Hägglund. Fred Nyberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Ingvar Ek put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Torbjörn Igelström. Harry Sundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Ek in the 92nd minute of play forced Fäboden Haga i Norrköping's goalkeeper Torbjörn Igelström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torbjörn Igelström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Torbjörn Igelström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Ek's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
