The FC Super Friends fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvin Pihlwall should have stopped the shot. Alvin Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Ek in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Harry Sundberg made a precise shot to the right of Alvin Pihlwall. FC Super Friends's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Harry Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Harry Sundberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvin Pihlwall. FC Super Friends's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry Sundberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Mjällby AIF's Ingvar Ek in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Super Friends's Alvin Pihlwall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Super Friends from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Super Friends getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kalle Bogren hit a great ball. Ingvar Ek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvin Pihlwall having to make a save. Harry Sundberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvin Pihlwall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Harry Sundberg scored 0-5 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvin Pihlwall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th match minute, FC Super Friends was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Bogren to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, Ingvar Ek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvin Pihlwall. Ingvar Ek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Harry Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harry Sundberg got free with Alvin Pihlwall in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingvar Ek hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC Super Friends's Alvin Pihlwall got control of the ball when Harry Sundberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Super Friends booed when Mjällby AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvin Pihlwall didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Mjällby AIF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
