An unexpectedly hard shot by George Ingemarsson in the 4th minute of play forced Örbyhus's goalkeeper Esbjörn Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örbyhus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sjömarken the free kick. After 52 played minutes Örbyhus got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Sefastsson. Esbjörn Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Hedin in the 57th minute of play. George Ingemarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Fritz Sefastsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sjömarken booed when Örbyhus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Hedin hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Rune Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Kielberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esbjörn Byström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Ingemarsson went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Sjömarken's George Ingemarsson in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Esbjörn Byström guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Örbyhus's Esbjörn Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Ingemarsson in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ludwig Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Ingemarsson in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Byström saved Örbyhus from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Sjömarken's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Sefastsson came free, but Yngve Kielberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Örbyhus defense, George Ingemarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esbjörn Byström. The Örbyhus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esbjörn Byström should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sjömarken had played much better football throughout.
