Spectators: 7182 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 100) Flen's Axel Joensson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Joensson in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Olof Asklöv saved Love United from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, Love United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Dalkvist to maneuver through the defense. Robin Dalkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy Hedman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Wahlström having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Axel Joensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Olof Asklöv was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Axel Joensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Olof Asklöv was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 23 minutes, Robin Dalkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Love United and the Flen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robin Dalkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Wahlström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Joensson in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Olof Asklöv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josef Gallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ludvig Wahlström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roy Hedman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludvig Wahlström having to make a save. Jan-Olof Asklöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Joensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Kasper Hansson struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Jan-Olof Asklöv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flen. The Love United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flen were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Dalkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Tommy Gullesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Axel Joensson took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jan-Olof Asklöv to make any attempt to save it. If Roy Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Axel Joensson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Flen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Joensson couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes Love United got a freekick which was hit by Robin Dalkvist. 77 minutes into the match, Axel Joensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Olof Asklöv. Love United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Joensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Love United's Jan-Olof Asklöv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Joensson in the 82nd minute of play. After 87 played minutes, Flen's Kjell-Arne Klint shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Olof Asklöv came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flen reached it. Roy Hedman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Wahlström having to interfere. Axel Joensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Joensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jan-Olof Asklöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Flen booed when Love United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Gullesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
