Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oskar Alebäck made the kick off which started today's match. Kalle Lagerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Erik Fanström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Petter Åström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Skövde's Jens-Erik Fanström didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Drewitz got free with Nils-Åke Lindholm in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Myr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Lindholm having to interfere. 21 minutes in the game, Stefan Myr fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nils-Åke Lindholm having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Kalle Lagerberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Skövde's Jens-Erik Fanström. Jens-Erik Fanström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Färila's Nils-Åke Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Färila from getting a goal against them. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Färila! When Jan Brenner fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skövde's protests and gave Jan Brenner a yellow card for diving instead. Jan Brenner kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Fred Drewitz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Nils-Åke Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde. In the 49th minute Stefan Myr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Myr made a kick off. Skövde's Jens-Erik Fanström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Jan Brenner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Alebäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Färila fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Färila's Kalle Lagerberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Skövde's Fred Drewitz got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, Skövde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Brenner to maneuver through the defense. Skövde's Jens-Erik Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Alebäck in the 81st minute of play. Skövde's Stefan Myr got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskar Alebäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jens-Erik Fanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Färila's Kalle Lagerberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens-Erik Fanström. That made the score 2-5 after 98 minutes of play.
