Sörsjön's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drottningskär BF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sörsjön's Sune Palmkvist got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Drottningskär BF booed when Sörsjön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Palmkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Drottningskär BF's Staffan Åkesson tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sörsjön's Stefan Almqvist got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Verner Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stellan Stabbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Hedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ted Alebom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicklas Bollström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Askelöf having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Verner Hedin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Sörsjön's goalkeeper Torsten Askelöf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Alebom. After the first half Sörsjön were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Verner Hedin made the kick off in the second half. Torsten Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Alebom, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Ted Alebom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Alebom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Drottningskär BF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Urban Brask hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Sörsjön's Jan-Ove Bruse broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Verner Hedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Nicklas Bollström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drottningskär BF and the Sörsjön players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ted Alebom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Torsten Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Ted Alebom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Ted Alebom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Askelöf was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
