The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Nilsson in the 5th minute of play forced Penguinz FC's goalkeeper Göran Sundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maximilian Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ljungby RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilian Nilsson couldn't finish the play. In the 13th match minute, Penguinz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, one of Ljungby RK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ljungby RK. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, Penguinz FC's Leif Söderberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Elliot Arhenius. A collision led to Penguinz FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bengt Skoglund hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Ljungby RK's Maximilian Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Sundin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 30th minute, Måns Gernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Göran Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Gernberg in the 32nd minute of the match. Måns Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Sundin having to interfere. Timmy Siöman hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Isac Brolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Elliot Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Ljungby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Wästerberg to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ljungby RK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leif Söderberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Penguinz FC's players had a chance to rest. Simon Wästerberg's late challenge caught a Penguinz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Wästerberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Ljungby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Wästerberg to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Penguinz FC's Leif Söderberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 56 played minutes Penguinz FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Skoglund. After a rather tough play, Penguinz FC's Bengt Skoglund got a free kick in the 59th minute. Simon Wästerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Maximilian Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Göran Sundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Maximilian Nilsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Göran Sundin however easily saved by the left post. If Isac Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Ljungby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Brolin came free, but Elliot Arhenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ljungby RK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Timmy Siöman hit a great ball. Elliot Arhenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Skoglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes, Sixten Lundgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penguinz FC and the Ljungby RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sixten Lundgren hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Maximilian Nilsson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Måns Gernberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Sundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Henry Ekgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penguinz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Ekgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliot Arhenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ljungby RK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Penguinz FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
