Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Måns Gernberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Måns Gernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungby RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Måns Gernberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Knutsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximilian Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Knutsson came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungby RK's Maximilian Nilsson. But to his dismay, Maximilian Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Maximilian Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Gernberg in the 25th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Simon Wästerberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lidköping's Mathias Knutsson. Mathias Knutsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lidköping getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Kjell-Arne Lange hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Lidköping's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Gernberg came free, but Mathias Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Måns Gernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Mathias Knutsson came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungby RK's Maximilian Nilsson. But to his dismay, Maximilian Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Ljungby RK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Simon Wästerberg hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Kjell-Arne Lange fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elliot Arhenius, passed just outside the right post. Ljungby RK's Elliot Arhenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Ljungby RK from getting a goal against them. Mathias Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Gernberg in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Krister Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Måns Gernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Maximilian Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Gernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Måns Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Knutsson having to interfere. Maximilian Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Ljungby RK were the better team. Ljungby RK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
