The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per Alström during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Golf o Bois booed when Söderala IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Alström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes, Golf o Bois's Conny Johnsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Konrad Lindsten came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golf o Bois reached it. Daniel Törnblom hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Torsten Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Melker Ånger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Törnblom charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Törnblom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Axel Kolberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joakim Delin to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Roger Grelsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 53 minutes of play, Söderala IK's Torsten Ahlström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Axel Kolberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Golf o Bois's Agne Hasselqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melker Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Karl-Axel Kolberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Axel Kolberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torsten Ahlström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 63 minute of play. Söderala IK's Konrad Lindsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Delin in the 67th minute of play. Roger Grelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Melker Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Torsten Ahlström in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Axel Kolberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th minute, one of Söderala IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Söderala IK. The referee gave Golf o Bois a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Conny Johnsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Söderala IK's Konrad Lindsten. 1-5. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 93rd minute, when Söderala IK's Per Alström after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Karl-Axel Kolberg in Golf o Bois's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Söderala IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
