Spectators: 7325 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 125) An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Malmström in the 5th minute of play forced Södra Vi's goalkeeper Stellan Hedbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Stellan Hedbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deje booed when Södra Vi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Lennart Botvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Botvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Birger Knutsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deje's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Knutsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stellan Hedbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Birger Knutsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Deje fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Deje's Rune Malmström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Örjan Ahlroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Martinsson in the 23rd minute of play. If Mark Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stellan Hedbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Karlsson in the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Södra Vi's goalkeeper Stellan Hedbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 48 minutes of play, Deje's Mark Karlsson made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stellan Hedbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Södra Vi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deje were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mark Karlsson made a kick off. A hard shot 55 in the game by Rune Malmström from a close distance when the talented Stellan Hedbom managed to make a qualified save. Södra Vi's players were relieved. Stellan Hedbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Knutsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Stellan Hedbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Malmström in the 64th minute. Rune Malmström scored 0-5 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stellan Hedbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Deje's Mark Karlsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Rune Malmström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Stellan Hedbom made a huge save. Örjan Ahlroth came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Södra Vi's Harry Abelsson. But to his dismay, Harry Abelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 79 minutes into the match, Deje's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Nord came free, but Örjan Ahlroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Malmström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stellan Hedbom having to make a save. Rune Malmström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Hedbom having to interfere. If Mark Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Rune Malmström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Stellan Hedbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 97 played minutes Södra Vi got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Dalberg. When the final whistle sounded Deje left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Södra Vi.
