Spectators: 7384 (Terracing: 5539, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mark Karlsson got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Malmström got free with Orvar Drake in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Örjan Ahlroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Karlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Drake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 46 played minutes, Blå IF's Malte Helberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Örjan Ahlroth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blå IF reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kent Arhenius made the kick off in the second half. Andreas Hedling made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deje's Felix Ahlbom. If Rune Malmström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Blå IF's Kent Arhenius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Örjan Ahlroth. That made the score 3-2 after 61 minutes of play. 67 minutes into the match, Deje's goalkeeper Örjan Ahlroth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Nyström. Mark Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 3-3 became the score in the 75th minute when Kent Arhenius elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Birger Knutsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Rune Malmström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Drake was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Rune Malmström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Drake having to interfere.
