Spectators: 6494 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agne Helander started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Agne Helander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Helander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute Johan Tholsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Edane got a freekick which was hit by Per Pihlberg. Bo Axelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Helander in the 18th minute of play. Agne Helander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Varberg's Erland Söderberg got a free kick in the 28th minute. Anders Örtendahl was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Edane getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Christopher Vallin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Edane's zone, Allan Blomqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olle Eriksson came out of the goal and Allan Blomqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Gustaf Nordgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olle Eriksson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Erland Söderberg fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Varberg's protests and gave Erland Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Varberg's Erland Söderberg got a free kick in the 38th minute. Erland Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Sivert Strömbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Edane's Anders Örtendahl in action when he in the 47th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Blomqvist to make the kick off. Gustaf Nordgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Olle Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christopher Vallin during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Erland Söderberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. Edane's Johan Tholsson got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Örtendahl during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Edane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Örtendahl to maneuver through the defense. Gustaf Nordgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Eriksson having to interfere. Johan Tholsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 85th playminute. Anders Örtendahl got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 94th minute, Anders Örtendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
